Community Used Clothes Recycling Bank Scheme


“Community Used Clothes Recycling Bank” is a community participation scheme launched by the Home Affairs Department (HAD). The Scheme facilitates the public to donate used clothes in support of environmental protection and charities. The Salvation Army, being appointed by HAD as one of the scheme managers of Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing, Yuen Long and Tuen Mun districts, invites approved charitable institutions and trusts of a public character under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance to apply for operating the banks.
